Kristina A. Gasson

Kristina Gasson is a practicing attorney, focusing in immigration law and estate planning. She assists clients with a number of immigration matters, including green card applications for spouses and other family members, fiancé visas, citizenship petitions, and employment-based green cards and visas. She has represented clients in removal proceedings and asylum hearings in Immigration Court. She also has drafted a number of wills and trusts for clients, with particular attention paid to the taxation ramifications of bequests to non-U.S. citizens.

Kristina has written content for a number of journals, practice manuals, newspapers, magazines and online media (including Nolo) on both legal and non-legal topics. She has also provided pro bono services for a number of legal clinics and non-profit organizations and has interned for the Executive Office of Immigration Review and the U.S. Senate. She enjoys writing, travelling, and running in her free time.

Kristina received her law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law and her bachelor's degree in political science from Brown University. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and New York, but as immigration is federal law, she is able to represent immigration clients throughout the U.S. and internationally.
