Oregon Child Support Calculator
To use the child support calculator, select or enter the appropriate information next to each statement.
When you have completed the form, click on the calculate button to get an estimate of the amount of child support that the non-custodial parent will have to pay to the custodial parent in Oregon.
Please remember that these calculators are for informational and educational purposes only. The amount of child support a court will order for any particular case may be different from the amount estimated by the calculator.
For the most part these calculators assume that all of the children will primarily live with one parent. It is not intended to estimate situations where there is joint physical custody or split custody.
These calculators do not take into account any possible adjustments for children who are not subject to the custody order but who are living with one of the parents.
These factors and others may affect a child support order entered by a court.

An Overview of Oregon Child Support Services
If you are a custodial or non-custodial parent, are a relative or caretaker who retains physical custody of the child in need of support, you should fill out an application with the
Division of Child Support (DCS). The DCS offers a number of services for families, including:
Locating the non-custodial parent
If the parent who is responsible for paying child support cannot be found, DCS can utilize a number of resources and strategies in order to locate him or her, including the Federal Parent Locator Service (FPLS), credit bureau and IRS data, and new hire reporting directories.
Establishing paternity
Legal paternity must be determined in order to establish a child support order. DCS can either provide you with the necessary Affidavit in Support of Establishing Paternity forms or provide a court order for a genetic test.
Creating a support order
DCS can help determine how much each party is able to pay in child support based on current Oregon child support guidelines. They will then submit the amount to the court to establish a child support order.
Modifying a child support order
If you require changes to your support order, you may be able to modify it through DCS if: it has been at least 35 months since your last review, entry, or modification; and/or you can provide proof that there has been a substantial change in financial circumstances.
Enforcing a support order
DCS can help ensure that you are paid child support by withholding income from the non-custodial parent, intercepting state and federal tax refunds, suspending driver’s licenses, and more.
