Ohio Child Support Calculator
To use the child support calculator, select or enter the appropriate information next to each statement.
When you have completed the form, click on the calculate button to get an estimate of the amount of child support that the non-custodial parent will have to pay to the custodial parent in Ohio.
Please remember that these calculators are for informational and educational purposes only. The amount of child support a court will order for any particular case may be different from the amount estimated by the calculator.
For the most part these calculators assume that all of the children will primarily live with one parent. It is not intended to estimate situations where there is joint physical custody or split custody.
These calculators do not take into account any possible adjustments for children who are not subject to the custody order but who are living with one of the parents.
These factors and others may affect a child support order entered by a court.

What the Ohio Child Support Program Can and Can’t Do
Can:
Locate the non-custodial parent
The Ohio Child Support Program (OCSP) can utilize numerous resources to track down a non-custodial parent in order to receive payment for a child support order.
Establish paternity
Legal paternity must be established in order to initiate a child support order. OCSP can help you through the process.
Establish a child support order and medical support
OCSP can help you through the process of setting out obligations in your child support order.
Review and adjust a support order
Ohio child support orders may be reviewed every 36 months. If you meet certain qualifications, you may be able to apply for a review earlier.
Enforce a child support order
OCSP can also utilize various strategies and resources in order to make sure that the non-custodial parent keeps paying child support.
Collect and disburse payments
OCSP can collect child support payments through Child Support Payment Central (CSPC).
Can’t:
Help resolve custody or visitation issues
OCSP does not get involved with custody or visitation disputes. These issues are best taken up with a private family law attorney.
Establish alimony or spousal support
Establishing alimony requires a private attorney and is not a service that OCSP provides.
Open a case for a first-time pregnant woman
OCSP can’t take a case with a pregnant woman who has no other children.
Preside over divorce
A private divorce attorney must be sought if you need help with divorce proceedings.
